The Connaught is fittingly known as "London's most exclusive hotel." We return each year for the clubby, intimate atmosphere. There is no lobby per se, but instead a couple of spacious and comfortable parlors where we can sit and enjoy a spot of tea. The guestrooms here are relaxed and cozy - it truly feels like home when you return at the end of the day. My favorite spot is the Michelin-starred MENU restaurant - be sure to cap off your meal with an aperitif in the adjoining Connaught Bar. Mayfair, Knightsbridge and Hyde Park are all just a short stroll away.

Please Note: The Connaught is currently closed for a multi-million pound restoration programme and is due to reopen on 1st November 2007. Phase 1 will include a full restoration of the existing 109 year old building — updating and renewing the infrastructure plus enhancement of the bedrooms and public spaces. Phase 2 will include adding and fitting out a new wing of 31 guestrooms via sensitive extension onto Adams Row, plus spa with pool and world-class meeting facilities.
