The lushly landscaped private pool at AAA Five Diamond Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, long a relaxing respite for guests, will debut a fresh new look and feel this summer. The makeover is expected to make its debut in June 2010.

Upon first glance, one may wonder what makes The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas worthy of Travel & Leisure magazine’s Top Hotel Spas list. Unlike many of the other spas located on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, its list of amenities is fairly simple: private men’s and women’s relaxation rooms, a eucalyptus steam room and a Zen lounge for relaxation. There’s no sauna, no cascading waterfall showers…not even a whirlpool to unwind in. But one step into any one of its 16 treatment rooms and you’ll quickly discover a spa experience unlike any other.

This is only the beginning,” Sheldon Adelson, the CEO of Las Vegas Sands Group, said at The Venetian’s first anniversary celebration the next day.

“Non-gaming revenues are expanding rapidly so we’re excited to introduce a whole host of other entertainment on the strip. In 2009, there will be more shows, more restaurants, more nightclubs and more shopping. We’re even in the midst of constructing a gigantic wave pool in the hotel.”
