Four Seasons offers tempting options that reflect the Resort’s East-meets-West sensibility. Pura, with its Balinese décor, offers typical Uruguayan cuisine; Mandara, with its Moroccan/Balinese ambience and enticing views, serves a wide selection of local meats. One of two lounges, Shiva Lounge offers an upstairs Library, a relaxing enclave for reading or surfing the Internet. For small groups, private dining can be arranged in the Gazebo or at La Estancia ranch.

Uruguayan barbecue

The Gazebo is the perfect private-dining venue for celebrating a special occasion, for groups from 2 to 12 guests. Your private server and cook will guide you through an unforgettable Uruguayan dining experience. The Gazebo is also an ideal location for enjoy spectacular sunsets.

The Gazebo can also accommodate cocktail receptions for up to 20 guests.

Mandara Restaurant and Bar

Mandara Restaurant and Bar is filled with candlelight that emanates from wall niches, creating a perfect setting for private dinners and group functions alike. A section of Mandara replicates the atmosphere of a Moroccan retreat, and Balinese architectural elements add to the exotic ambience. Views of the cascading pool and the river enhance the intimate atmosphere.

Enjoy a glass of local wine or a cocktail at Mandara Bar. The room features a stunning curvilinear banquette, and the cosy background music and flickering candlelight make it the ideal place for a drink before dinner. The romantic seating in Mandara Restaurant is ideal for celebrating your special occasion with contemporary tableside service and a menu featuring the best selection from the Uruguayan market. During restaurant hours, a daily selection of tapas is available at Mandara Bar. We also offer outside seating for enjoying drinks and tapas.

Pura

Pura, which means "temple," is the Resort's all-day dining restaurant, enticing guests with batik draperies and carved panels depicting mythical Balinese figures.

The restaurant's focal point is a glass mosaic pool from which a Balinese spirit house rises. The floor is white crystalline granite and blue Brazilian marble. Private dining behind batik drapery is available in three corners of the restaurant. Corner chandeliers lit with candles can be raised or lowered according to guests' preferences. Pura features exceptional views of the double-cascading outdoor swimming pool and a distant view of the river. During summer days and evenings, meals can be enjoyed on the terrace.

Lounges

Lobby Lounge

Located on the lobby level of the Resort, in front of the reception desk, the Lobby Lounge offers beverages and a view of the sunset or the Rio de la Plata. Enjoy a wide selection of wines by the glass, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, domestic and imported beers, the best variety of Uruguayan liqueurs, and hot beverages including afternoon tea.

Shiva Lounge

Shiva Lounge is a visual delight, with a true east-meets-west sensibility. Furnishings and decorative items have been brought from all corners of the globe. On the ceiling, delightful painted panels depict flora and fauna. Upstairs, the Library is a relaxing enclave for reviewing the latest issues of newspapers and magazines from around the world, playing games or surfing the Internet.
