Legendary chef Joël Robuchon dissolves the boundaries between kitchen and dining room in the intimate L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, where guests can enjoy his inspired cuisine. In the contemporary setting of 57 – with its tall windows, bronze chandeliers and inlaid maple floors – culinary specialities highlight the US Northeast and other regions.

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon

With renowned restaurants in Paris, Tokyo and Las Vegas, legendary chef Joël Robuchon brings his breathtaking cuisine to Four Seasons Hotel New York at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon. Sophisticated and elegant, the interior glistens with rich details in light wood and black and red lacquer – blending the style of French designer Pierre-Yves Rochon with the iconic architecture of I. M. Pei. In keeping with its atelier (artist’s workshop) approach, the heart of the restaurant is the open kitchen – allowing guests to watch the culinary team at work.

Chef Robuchon focuses on the highest-quality ingredients, prepared with clockwork precision and abundant creativity. His casual French style shows a strong affection for Asian cuisine, with its simplicity of presentation, pure and flavourful sauces, and concentration on single, perfect ingredients.

With just 20 seats at the pearwood counter – considered the most desirable, with their view of the kitchen – and only 26 more at individual tables, L’Atelier offers an atmosphere that is both intimate and dynamic.

The Garden

Four 20-foot (6-metre) acacia trees transform this new restaurant into an enchanted forest in the heart of a metropolis. Located off of the Hotel’s soaring 33-foot (10-metre) lobby, The Garden offers breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch. Its menu includes popular American favourites, with an emphasis on regional ingredients and farm fresh produce. Guests can enjoy eggs Benedict, lemon ricotta hotcakes and omelettes for breakfast and brunch, and salads, burgers, pasta, chicken and steak at lunch. Known for its breakfasts and power lunches, The Garden has a vibrant buzz that can only be found in Manhattan.

The world’s finest and only Calvisius Caviar Lounge is now open at Four Seasons Hotel New York.

Enjoy a casual bite of exquisite and sustainable caviar from Italy in a sophisticated yet cozy setting. Small plates are complemented by French champagne, Italian sparkling wine and superior vodkas. Or you may choose to enjoy Calvisius in your guest room through In-Room Dining. The premium caviar may also be shipped to any location throughout the country, or packaged for purchase to go.

The Bar

One of New York’s most desirable destinations after work, The Bar welcomes – with lofty ceilings, gentle lighting and fascinating people. Birthplace of the martini renaissance, The Bar features an extensive menu of innovative martinis and bar snacks.

The Garden Wine Bar

In the evening, The Garden is transformed into a vibrant wine bar overlooking the Hotel’s soaring 33-foot (10-metre) lobby. The room features four 20-foot (6-metre) acacia trees that project delicate leaf formations onto the ceiling and enhance its enchanted atmosphere. The focal point in the towering space is a 15-foot-tall (4.6-metre-tall) wine display, which stands above a small wine bar. The display features an illuminated red backdrop and is complemented by nine cherry-red leather stools surrounding the intimate bar. Wine is the focus of the dining experience, with food offerings designed to enhance the scope and variety of the 200 choices available by the glass. The collection offers wines from all over the world, champagne and sparkling selections, and cult varieties. Most menu items are offered as small plates, including Blistered Shishito Peppers, Shrimp Romesco and Seared Ahi Tuna Tartare. Artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, steak frites and a chocolate tasting are also available.

The Garden is available for semi-private events up to 50 on weekdays, and private events up to 120, on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

TY

On the west side of the East 57th Street lobby, TY is an intimate lounge with outstanding style. A stunning fireplace and luxurious seating set the stage for personal comfort and people-watching. TY offers a sophisticated hors d’oeuvres menu, along with a premium selection of aperitifs, spirits and champagne.
