The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui offers a delicate balance of refreshment for mind, body and beauty. Centuries-old healing techniques, summoning the secrets of herbal and holistic remedies, are deeply rooted in Thailand’s rich spa heritage. Further calmed by the gentle sights and sounds of the jungle, guests of the spa can retreat from hectic urban life into the authentic peace of Samui. Individual treatment rooms are housed in five salas – covered verandas – each with two indoor and two outdoor Thai-style massage beds, an outdoor shower, an outdoor bathtub and a steam room or indoor rain shower. A separate treatment sala is available for facials, waxing and other services, while the salon can provide additional services for special occasions. Afterwards, sip a tropical juice and savour the feeling of serenity in the spa's relaxation sala.

Lan Tania
Thai and Italian

Named after the local blue palm tree, Lan Tania is superbly located at the top of the Resort, more than 100 metres (328 feet) above the beach. Diners may sit indoors, in air-conditioned comfort; outside on the terrace, cooled by gentle breezes; or in the adjoining Lounge beneath high thatched roofs. Teak wood floors with terrazzo accents complement the contemporary, Thai-inspired décor. Both locations offer guests breathtaking views of the Gulf of Siam and surrounding islands while dining, family style, on the restaurant’s Thai and Italian specialties. To enjoy a superb Koh Samui sunset, guests may sit in the lounge area or at a specially located communal table. The breakfast buffet offers continental, Thai and Asian dishes, while a full American breakfast is available à la carte. A separate dessert menu features simple yet creative Italian and local favourites.

Pla Pla

On the beach below, Pla Pla (the Thai term for “many fish”) serves fresh fish daily, prepared according to individual request. The menu includes a comprehensive seafood selection, meat and vegetarian options, and local dishes – authentically prepared, with varying degrees of spiciness. During the day, guests may enjoy light salads and snacks from Pla Pla as they lounge by the pool or on the beach. Pla Pla also hosts special dining events weekly, such as barbecues, seafood or luau-style dinners on the beach.

White Thai sandstone walls and floors provide a dramatic contrast to the steel blue, silver, eggplant andsaffron décor that defines the restaurant’s casual ambience. Seating is offered on an open, fan-cooled deck, on the open-air terrace, or right on the white-sand beach. In addition, a dining pavilion on the beach accommodates up to 16 guests for cocktails or dinner.

The perfect place to unwind with its large, inviting lounge beds and idyllic views, the Beach Bar is conveniently located between Pla Pla and the pool, and serves everything from tropical cocktails to refreshing soft drinks.
