Pan Pacific Vancouver is uniquely located in the heart of the city's downtown waterfront, rising above the Canada Place/Alaska cruise ship terminal and within walking distance of Robson Street shopping, theatre, nightlife, Stanley Park and Gastown. Of the 504 guestrooms and suites, we particularly love the suites facing the harbor and mountains. Don't miss Five Sails Restaurant, offering incomparable views (except, perhaps, those from your suite) and international cuisine. ![]() |

We were just returning from an Alaska cruise when we decided to extend our vacation at the Pan Pacific Vancouver, a spectacular extension of the Canada Place/Alaska cruise-ship terminal. This AAA Five Diamond hotel spoiled us with its Five Sails Restaurant (the wine list and seafood menu are among the best in the city), new Spa Utopia (complete with VIP spa suites) and heated outdoor swimming pool. As for rooms, ask for one of the suites with an exterior shower wall: its one-way glass provides dramatic views of the Coastal Mountains. |

A spectacular 23 storey, 504 room deluxe hotel property, Pan Pacific Vancouver debuted on Vancouver's downtown waterfront on January 8, 1986. The Pan Pacific occupies a privileged position atop the magnificent Canada Place complex on Vancouver's dramatic waterfront -- offering panoramic views of the city, harbour, and the Coastal Mountains. Sharing Canada Place is the spacious Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Center, the World Trade Centre office complex, and Vancouver's cruise ship terminal. Just steps away is Vancouver's business district and entertainment centres. Of the 504 rooms, 39 are suites. All rooms and suites are equipped with high-speed internet connections, hairdryers, bathrobes, in-room safes, irons and ironing boards, and offer a full line of Aveda bath products. Dining facilities include The Five Sails Restaurant, a waterfront restaurant specializing in exquisite international cuisine and awarded a Five Diamond rating by the AAA for the past four years; Cafe Pacifica, an informal setting for breakfast and lunch offering an "East-meets-West" experience. Cascades Lounge, the hotel's lobby bar; and Starbucks Coffee Bar, for the morning coffee fix, delectable sandwich or sweet pastry selection. Recreational facilities include the Pan Pacific Club which offers the latest in exercise equipment, racquetball and squash courts, indoor running track, aerobic classes, jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms and massage. The 50-foot outdoor heated pool and Jacuzzi and spacious sundeck are located on the eighth floor. Additional services include Concierge, 24-hour room service, complimentary morning coffee service, same-day laundry and valet, baby-sitting, The Xerox Business Center, an exclusive hair salon and retail shops offering haute couture, antiques, artwork, and foreign currency exchange.
