The Hotel Principe di Savoia, overlooking Piazza della Repubblica in the centre of Milan, is a landmark imposing and uniform in style. The ground floor has an exterior of wrought iron and glass, extended in verandas along the entire front. The expanse in front of the hotel encloses a beautiful Italian garden, while in their furnishings and decor, the main lobby, salons and public rooms have recaptured the atmosphere and style of turn-of-the-century Milan. The tenth floor offers an ultra-modern Fitness Center, the Club 10, endowed with a swimming pool, gymnasium and sauna, as well as the Presidential Suite, 500 square metres in size, with three bedrooms, dining room, living room, private spa compassing a swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and Turkish bath, and a large terrace with a panoramic view of the city and, in clear weather, of the distant snow-capped mountains.

Hotel Principe di Savoia continues to do justice to its aristocratic past. Our stylish guestroom was outfitted with warm wood tones and Empire-style furnishings, beautiful antiques and decorative sconce lighting. The bathroom was a vision in Italian marble and boasted the divine Acqua di Parma toiletries. If you've overindulged in the Acanto restaurant, rev things up at the Club 10 Fitness Beauty Center on the roof (complete with Turkish bath, sauna, hydro massage and panoramic city views). Later, relax with a cocktail in the Giardino d'lnverno bar, under the dramatic colored-glass cupola. |

Today the hotel has 401 rooms of which 131 are suites. They have been redesigned in furnishings and accessories so as to integrate modern technical equipment unobtrusively into the warm and elegant atmosphere. All the guest rooms feature the Wireless High Speed Internet Access and revolutionary interactive televisions with LCD TFT high resolution flat screens. In January 2006 the 48 new Deluxe Mosaic Rooms, all overlooking Piazza della Repubblica, were opened to the public. The design inspiration and key feature of every bathroom is the wall mosaic – a contemporary vision of classical Italian design. Dining Opening soon the new restaurant Acanto with veranda, where the clients can enjoy a unique experience in the centre of Milan – tasting the talents of our Executive Chef in a splendid garden. Entering the restaurant from the hotel or from the new independent entrance is akin to crossing a frontier of grace and enchantment, summer or winter. Lighting will be natural: sunlight during the day and a starlit roof at night. Yet another example of the emotion and harmony, luxury and quality of life that synthesize the present and future style of the Principe di Savoia. Fabrizio Cadei is the new Executive Chef of the hotel’s restaurant Acanto. His primary culinary inspiration for the menu derives from the regional tradition of Lombardy, to which he merges flavours from the Mediterranean to create delicate dishes infused with a world of flavour. With Fabrizio Cadei the show-kitchen of Acanto is the point of reference in Milan for international gourmets. “Giardino d’Inverno” is the name chosen for the bar of the Principe and the name could not have been otherwise since the bar is designed as a winter garden, a courtyard enclosed by a dome of glass, a colourful mosaic of blown glass. The “Lobby Lounge” at the Principe di Savoia is an elegant café specializing in delicious pastries, traditional English afternoon teas and informal, but nonetheless high-quality snacks. A perfect continuation of the bar, it retains the characteristic idea of a winter garden with the boiserie and the magnificent hand-painted decorations in springtime motifs and picture windows looking out onto the lovely Italian garden.
