The gardens of Villa San Michele are alive with this perfume as a portion of the Villa’s magical Italian Garden was transformed into a rose garden. Our gardeners worked hard on the project, and along the wall that forms the background of the garden were planted seven varieties of roses. This year, these magnificent specimens fill the Villa with new colors and intense aromas.

Fiesole, the town Villa San Michele calls home, commands breathtaking views from the hills above Florence. In addition to these stunning views, Fiesole attracts visitors year round to its archeological area to view remnants of Etruscan walls, a striking Roman theatre as well as Roman baths.

Playing an important role in making the Limonaia Suite of VILLA SAN MICHELE really unique, a new heated plunge pool with views of Florence has been created in its private garden, which - thanks to the improvements - consists today of three elegant suites that can be linked together to provide the experience of staying in a private “villa within the Villa”.

In just a short time, our Cookery School has established a reputation for excellence among gourmets all over the world. Internationally renowned chefs come to teach here, while regular guests of the Villa have discovered yet another reason to return time and again.
