A stay in The Club will surround you with a range of pampering services. The Club occupies the top two floors and offers all day complimentary beverage service, deluxe continental breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and after dinner cordials with desserts, all served in the comfort of the exclusive, private access two story Club Level Lounge by a dedicated staff.

A variety of rooms and suites are available on the Club Floor including Club Double & Club King Rooms, City View Suites,* Luxury Suites* and Presidential Suites. *Please note that City View Suites and Luxury Suites are also available on non Club Floors so booking this room type does not guarantee access to the Club Floor. The Spa offers a range of treatments and services including massage therapy, skin care and speciality services. Spa services are available by appointment to local visitors and guests of the hotel. As a guest of the hotel, we offer the use of our comprehensive health club, equipped with a beautiful indoor/outdoor salt water pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room and children's splash pool.

The Spa is located on the 4th floor of Belmond Charleston Place. The Spa Reception Desk, Pool and Fitness Center are open daily from 6:00am until 10:00pm. Treatments are available in the Spa between 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday and between 8am - 7pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Charleston Grill is South Carolina’s most notable Forbes Four-Star restaurant and has received the AAA Four Diamond award and Distinguished Restaurants of North America Award.

The Thoroughbred Club serves a themed tapas and cocktail menu.

Junior Suite

Newly Renovated Junior Suites offer a large room with a king bed plus a sitting area with a couch that includes a Tempur-Pedic sofa bed and easy chairs surrounding a coffee table. These suites are equipped with modern luxuries including master controlled lighting, bedside reading lights and mini refrigerator. Bathrooms feature Italian Carrara marble vanities with ample storage and walk-in tiled showers or soaking tubs.

Some Junior Suites connect to a Premier Double Room.

Deluxe Suite

These gracious king-bedded suites include a separate, oversized living room with a couch and easy chairs surrounding a coffee table and desk. Most Deluxe Suites include a sofa bed and two televisions. Bathrooms feature Italian marble vanities, brass fixtures, shower or soaking tub.

Club King

The Club Level is available by private access only and is located on the top two floors of the hotel offering the best views of Charleston - dedicated staff and full food and beverage service including extensive breakfast, afternoon tea, evening hors d’oeuvres and bar selection followed by nightly cordials and desserts. Club King Rooms feature a king bed, Charleston-inspired design and classic furniture, complimentary wireless Internet access and on-demand HD movies. Bathrooms feature Italian marble and brass fixtures - most feature double-vanity sinks.

One Bedroom Suite (Off Club)

These spacious, newly renovated, suites contain a king-bedded room with modern luxuries including master controlled lighting, bedside reading lights and mini refrigerator. French doors lead into a separate living room with a Tempur-Pedic sofa bed, additional flat screen television, easy chairs and coffee table. Bathrooms feature Italian Carrara marble vanities with ample storage and walk-in tiled showers or soaking tubs. One Bedroom Suites measure approximately 600 square feet of living space.

Some One Bedroom Suites connect to a Premier Double.

Luxury Premier Suite (off Club)

A separate entrance leads into the living room of the Luxury Premier Suite, which features a spacious sitting area including two couches, one of which is a Tempur-Pedic sofa bed, plus two easy chairs and coffee table. A dining table for up to eight guests and a pantry with Keurig and mini-refrigerator, plus a full bathroom complete the living room area. French doors lead to the king-bedded Premier Room, which includes all of the amenities of our most popular room category including an Italian marble full bathroom. A double-bedded Premier Room, which connects on the other side of the living room, can be reserved, creating a Two Bedroom Suite. A step-out Juliet balcony is available in some suites.
