Gracing one of St Barths most beautiful beaches, the intimate Hotel St Barth Isle De France beautifully combines the charm of the West Indies with the sophisticated style of the south of France. This luxury ocean front property houses 39 rooms, bungalows, suites and villas. Every room is individually decorated, vintage French fabrics and sheer linens in pale natural tones complement the indigenous colors of St Barths.

Guests arriving at the resort are greeted with a sweeping panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea from the Main House, which serves as the hotel's reception and features spacious Beach Rooms and Beach Junior Suites. Amidst the lush tropical gardens are the Garden Rooms, Garden Bungalows, the Tropical Villa with a private splash pool, and the 2 Bedroom Garden Suites with private pools. Couples might opt for the romantic, secluded and newly renovated Hillside Bungalow with its own private plunge pool, sixty five steps above the hotel, with a view of the sea. If guests wish to stay directly on Baie des Flamands there is a Two Bedroom Beach Suite and there are also four One Bedroom Beach Suites each with a private plunge pool. The latest addition to the hotel are the 2 Three Bedroom Flamands Villas. This is the ultimate in luxury directly on the beach. They have three bedrooms with ensuite baths, a full kitchen, living room, media room, private plunge pools and a private fitness room.

Days at the Isle De France are devoted to pleasure. Beach lovers will enjoy the sands and inviting waters of the Baie des Flamands, whilst those who prefer to relax around the pool have a choice of an active beachfront or a peaceful garden version. 'La Case de l' Isle', the al fresco restaurant serves simple, light and elegant French cuisine where guests can always enjoy the popular fashion shows presented each week. 'La Cabane de L'Isle de France' is the perfect spot to enjoy a casual lunch on the beach with the same menu as 'La Case de L'Isle'.

The Spa at the Hotel St Barth Isle de France is comprised of four treatment rooms and offers an atmosphere of complete relaxation and pure indulgence enabling guests to return to their natural state of well being. The Spa interior is an architectural structure of clean lines, rich woods, limestone and marble accented by fragrant and colourful local flowers. The Spa offers an extensive menu of treatments and personalized therapies created by our new brands NaturaBisse and Intraceuticals designed to rejuvenate the body and the mind. The Spa Pavilion located in the lush gardens and is the perfect setting for a thai massage or couples massage.

The Boutique at the Isle de France has a wonderful array of swimwear and caftans which are modeled around the pool every Tuesday evening.

The rooms:

All rooms are air-conditioned and have private safes, mini-fridges stocked with complimentary beverages on arrival, mini bars, television ( satellite ), coffee makers, hair dryer, direct telephone lines with voice mail, hifi system, iPod docking stations and DVD player with a DVD library in reception. Complimentary Wifi is available in all of our hotel rooms. Extension cords are available for clients at the Front Desk. We have two complimentary computers available in our Business Center. The Business Center is located just next to the Reception.

BEACH ROOM: 3 on ground floor, 6 upper level.Larege bedroom, one bathroom, one terrace overlooking the swimming pool and the sea. Total area is around 645 sq ft.

BEACH JUNIOR SUITE: 3 on ground floor. Large bedroom with a separate sitting area, one terrace overlooking the swimming pool and the sea. Total area is around 742 sq ft.

GARDEN BUNGALOW: 12 bungalows in the tropical garden. Large bedroom, one bathroom, a terrace over looking the garden.Total area is around 678 sq ft. Please note that we have 4 Family Bungalows, Two Garden Bungalows that either share a common entrance or have an adjoining door which can welcome a family around 4 to 6 people. The Family Bungalows have a shared entrance hall, two rooms next to each other, two bathrooms, two terraces.

GARDEN ROOM: 3 rooms located above the tennis court with a view of the sea. One large bedroom, a smaller bathroom with a shower (no bathtub), a terrace overlooking the garden and the sea (but not facing the beach). Total area is around 592 sq ft.

HILLSIDE BUNGALOW: Up 65 steps to a fabulous view of the sea. One room ( King Size Bed, no possibility of twin beds ) with a bathroom, a kitchenette, a terrace and a private swimming pool overlooking a magnificent sea view. No room service or evening turndown. Total area is around 678 sq ft.

TWO BEDROOM GARDEN SUITE: Consisting of two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a separate sitting room, a private hidden splash pool and a patio kitchen, surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Total area of suite is 1586 sqft.

FISHERMAN’S COTTAGE: This cottage has two ensuite bedrooms (one with King Size Bed and a bathtub and one with Twin beds and a shower),a small sitting area, a kitchenette, an exterior private garden and an interior courtyard with a jacuzzi. Total area of cottage 1179 sq ft.

THE SUITE ON THE BEACH: This two bedroom suite has an incredible location opening up right on to the lovely Baie des Flamands beach. Ground level you have a double bedroom with shower, a living room area with a kitchen, leading onto a deck with a beautiful sea view and a private jacuzzi. Upstairs is the master bedroom suite with a bathtub, shower and a private sundeck and spectacular view of Flamands beach. Total area of suite is 1453 sq ft.

TROPICAL VILLA: A private and romantic sanctuary amidst a beautiful and colourful landscape of bougainvillea and coconut palms, the romantic Tropical Villa is surrounded by Isle de France’s lovely tropical garden. A one-bedroom, one-bathroom enclave, it is situated in its own garden setting, with an interior sitting room, private splash pool and a kitchenette. Total area of villa 865 sq ft.

ONE BEDROOM BEACH SUITE: Yards from the main building with fantastic views of the sea. These suites are state of the art, and designed in the sophisticated and chic style of the hotel by Penny Morrison of Morrison Interiors, with parquet floors, soft elegant furnishings in cool cottons and linens.

Each has a private infinity plunge pool, large terraces with beach loungers, very spacious lounge area with 52″ plasma screens, full kitchens with American fridge and ice-maker, large bedrooms with views through the lounge to the sea. Large oversized beautiful bathrooms with inside and outside showers, stone bathtubs and double vanity unit with separate dressing area. Private parking area. There are 2 on the ground floor and 2 on the top floor. The top floor suites can connect internally. Total area per suite 1500sq ft.

FLAMANDS VILLAS: These incredible villas are directly on Baie des Flamands and each have gorogeous views of the water. They are comprised of three ensuite bedrooms, three bathrooms, a private cinema room, fitness room, full kitchen with high end appliances, living area, flat screen televisions, wifi, iPod docking stations, full sound system and private plunge pools. Recently opened in December 2010. Total area per villa 4300 sqft.

Our bathrooms are in marble with :A bathtub, Jacuzzi tubs in the 3 Beach Junior Suites, the Two Bedroom Suites in the Garden and the Garden Bungalows, separate shower, double sinks and WC. 3 Garden Rooms have a shower only (no bath tub).

Continental Breakfast Buffet may be served either in the room or at our restaurant, " LA CASE DE L'ISLE ", by the sea. Please note that our open air restaurant, "LA CASE DE L'ISLE", overlooks the water and offers a simple and light French Cuisine. A contemporary vision of French Traditional Cuisine.

"LA CABANE DE L'ISLE DE FRANCE" is our casual setting on the beach for lunch, offering the same menu as "LA CASE DE L'ISLE".
